1984 Indiana High School Football Season
In order to accommodate the summer-time heat, the ten-week regular season was
modified slightly. The season was started a week later: games played during Week
1 in 1983 would be moved back to Week 2 and 1983's Week 2 games were moved to
Week 11. Weeks 3 through 10 remained unchanged.
This adjustment moved the state championship games to the Friday &
Saturday following Thanksgiving.
