Class 4A Sectional 16
Sectional 16 began in 1985 when the IHSAA changed their postseason format to
allow all teams in, increasing the number of classes from four to five. From
1983 to 1984, there was also a Class 4A Sectional 16 that served the biggest
classification of Southwestern Indiana schools.
